Football Friday Field Day will be held on September 19th!  Leslie Carmichael, our awesome PE teacher, has a fun event planned for all to enjoy.  We have many different football activities planned for the students.  On this day, students and staff will be wearing their Panthers jerseys or sporting the Panthers colors (blue, silver, and black). This will be a great teambuilding day even if you aren't a Panthers fan.  Students will take to the gridiron, participating in Football Field Day, enjoying some fun compeition and learning football skills.   We need parent volunteers to help run the stations.  Click on our PTO page for a link to sign up!

We are also encouraging our students and community to continue the football fun by attending one of our UCPS high school football games Friday night.  Weddington High is playing at home against Parkwood, Sun Valley is away at Porter Ridge, and Cuthbertson is playing at home against Forest Hills.

Now for the fun part! We want to blow up TWITTER, FACEBOOK, and INSTAGRAM with #WesleyChapelFootballFriday #KeepPounding #PanthersNation. We will be sending out tons of pictures and hope you will too as you get ready for our #WesleyChapelFootballFriday and any other football activities you participate in over the weekend with your family!

Finally, to continue all the Football fun, Weddington, Antioch, and Wesley Chapel Elementary Schools will be hosting a Punt, Pass, and Kick (PPK)competition on Saturday 09/20/2014. This competition is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6-15, and will take place at Weddington Elementary School beginning at 8:00am. If your child is interested in participating in the PPK competition or if you are interested in attending/volunteering for this event, please email Mrs. Carmichael (leslie.carmichael@ucps.k12.nc.us).
